“That might do you some good too,” David responded. “Or maybe not.”

“Definitely not,” William sighed. “So, do I look good?”

“You look like you,” David replied. He leaned against William’s desk.

“But am I looking good enough in case there are any women at the party?”

“William,” David started. “If you were worried about whether women would find you
attractive, you probably should have gotten a haircut. You’re starting to look a
little shaggy.”

William ran his hand through his hair. It didn’t feel too shaggy or long.

“Plus,” David added. “You know that it’s probably just going to be us and Eric’s
huge family at the party, right? You know that all of his female cousins look just
like him but with wigs on.”

“Oh, yeah,” William said with a quick chuckle. “They do.”

“So, I wouldn’t worry about meeting anyone tonight,” David told him. “And try not
to get drunk and hit on any of Eric’s cousins.”

“I don’t think there’s enough alcohol in the world for that,” William retorted.

“Let’s not find out,” David said. “You ready?”

William glanced in the mirror.

“I believe I am,” he replied.
