Another election was approaching.

I wasn’t taken on the road. I stayed at the club. They wanted me out of sight. Which I don’t blame them. I’ve seen myself in the mirror, I am kind of creepy looking.

I keep hoping to have one of those “glow-ups” that I heard one of the aides talk about but I think you may have to put some effort into that. And I don’t have time for that. They were starting to show some really good movies on Turner Classic Movies.

So back to election season. There was a session before a debate or something. I heard the other guy did really crappy.

And I’ve forgotten about Shawn. He was the person assigned to guard me. He was really nice. He wasn’t rough like the Secret Service guys. And I’m not talking about what you’re thinking about. We didn’t have sessions. Only the former president got those.

So, Shawn was pretty cool. He was at the club pretty much twenty-four hours a day. Pretty sure living there was part of his pay package or he was a captive like me.

But Shawn was allowed to leave. And when the former president was gone, Shawn would hook me up with take-out. And not just McDonald’s. He would rotate which places he would pick up food from. And I know you guys probably think that I’m some big McDonald’s lover but I’m not. I’d rather have pizza. But when in Rome…
