William did accept the can of beer Eric handed him. He cracked it open and took a sip. He hadn’t had Icehouse since he was nineteen.
Eric took a giant swig of his beer and then spit into the pit.
William and David followed his lead.
“Hell yeah!” Eric yelled. “Just like old times.”
“Do you remember the last time all of us were here at this elementary school?” David asked.
“No,” Eric responded immediately, then cracked open a beer.
“The last time I remember,” William began, “was our fifth grade graduation.”
“Yes!” David agreed with excitement in his voice. “Do you remember what happened before hand?”
“We were outside, right here,” William responded. He tried piecing together the events.
“Remember Blaine?” David asked.
“Oh!” William exclaimed. “Eric kept giving him shit because he was selling girl scout cookies for his little sister!”
“Fuck that dude,” Eric said in between sips.
“Blaine got beet red and then began choking Eric out,” David reminded them. “He was so fast too. We were walking away and next thing I know he had his arm wrapped around your neck.”
“Fuck,” Eric responded. “Don’t know why he got so pissed off.”
“Well, you were calling him a girl scout for the last two months of fifth grade.”
“Fucker pre-deserved it for choking me out,” Eric reasoned.
